Summer Research Internship Program 

June 1 - August 10, 2007

The University of Virginia School of Medicine offers summer research internship opportunities to qualified undergraduates who are considering a possible career in biomedical research.  Students will be matched with a faculty mentor in one of the basic medical science departments at UVA for a one-on-one laboratory research experience, and will also participate in workshops and seminars during the term.  The program will run for 10 consecutive weeks from June to August.  A stipend of $4,000 plus housing and transportation are provided
