SYNOPSIS:
The sponsor provides support for administrative supplements to improve the diversity of the research workforce by supporting and recruiting students, postdoctorates, and eligible investigators from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented. All NIH awarding components participate in this program. Candidates eligible for support under this supplement program include individuals at various career levels who come from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in science. Such candidates include individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, individuals with
disabilities, and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

DEADLINE NOTE
Applications may be received at any time. Applications submitted to NINDS may be submitted between November 16, 2007 and February 15, 2008 for a March review; between February 16, 2008 and May 15, 2008 for a June review; and between August 1, 2008 and November 15, 2008 for a December review. Applications submitted to NCCAM may be submitted by March 15, July 15 and November 15 annually. This program will expire on September 30, 2008. NIDDK strongly encourages electronic submission of the completed request, including all appropriate signatures and supporting documents, as a single PDF file
